    Which of the following is equivalent to 3(2x + 1)(4x + 1)?

    • A) 45x
    • B) 24x^2 + 3
    • C) 24x^2 + 18x + 3
    • D) 18x^2 + 6
    First, multiply the binomials:
    We get 8x^2 + 6x + 1

Now multiply this polynomial by 3:
    3(8x^2 + 6x + 1) = 24x^2 + 18x + 3, answer C
