    James has a weekly allowance of 5 plus 1.50 for each chore c he does

    We build the allowance function A(c) where c is each chore
    A(c) = cost per chore * c + Weekly Allowance

    Plugging in our numbers, we get:
    A(c) = 1.50c + 5
