    -3x<= -9 or 5+x<6

    Take each piece:
    -3x<= -9

    Divide each side by -3:
    x>=3

    Now take 5 + x < 6
    5 + x < 6

    Subtract 5 from each side:
    x < 1

    Joining together the two inequalities, we have:
    x<1 or x>=3
