    show how 6 people could share 4 sandwiches.

    4/6 = 2/3

    Cut each of the 4 sandwiches in 3 pieces.
    this gives us 4 * 3 = 12

    Each person gets 2 of the 12 slices because 12 * 2/3 = 6
