    Im not really good with proportion and rates word problems and I need some help with it in my homework

    If Leah walks 5 miles in 60 minutes, then Leah will walk how far in 110 minutes if she walks at the same speed the whole time? If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth of a mile.

    I wanna know how i get this answer and copy the formula. Please help me thank you.

    Set up a proportion of miles to minutes where m is the number of miles walked in 110 minutes:
    5/60 = m/110

    Use our proportion calculator, we get:
    m = 9.1667 miles
