During a game, a basketball team scored 38 points worth of two-pointers, 33 points worth of three-pointers, and 8 points worth of free throws. How many shots did the basketball team make during the game? shots (Hint: A free throw is worth one point).

    Calculate two-point shots:
    Two-point shots = Two Pointers / 2
    Two-point shots = 38/2
    Two-point shots = 19

    Calculate three-point shots:
    Three-point shots = Three Pointers / 2
    Three-point shots = 33/3
    Three-point shots = 11

    Calculate free-throw shots:
Free throw shots = Free throws / 1
    Free throw shots = 8/1
    Free throw shots = 8

    Calculate total shots:
    Total shots = Two-point shots + three-point shots + free throws
    Total shots = 19 + 11 + 8
    Total shots = 38
