    List out the sums greater than 8:

    (4, 5)
    (4, 6)
    (5, 5)
    (5, 6)
    (6, 6)
    (5, 4)
    (6, 4)
    (6, 5)

    Since there are 6 * 6 = 36 total outcomes, we have the probability of the sum greater than 8 as:

    8/36 = 2/9
