    There are 63 students in middle school chorus. There are 11 more boys than girls. How many boys x and girls y are in the chorus?

    Set up equations:
    1. x + y = 63
    2. x = y + 11
    Substitute (1) into (2)
    y + 11 + y = 63
    2y + 11 = 63
