Amy deposits 4000 into an account that pays simple interest at a rate of 6% per year. How much interest will she be paid in the first 4 years?

Using our simple interest calculator, we get an accumulated value of 4,960

Interest Paid = Accumulated Value - Principal
    Interest Paid = 4960 - 4000
    Interest Paid = 960
