    A cook has 2 3/4 pounds of ground beef. How many quarter-pound burgers can he make?

    Using our mixed number calculator, we see:
    2&3/4 = 11/4

    A quarter pounder is 1/4, so we have:
    11 * (1/4) = 11/4

    So we can make 11 quarter pound burgers
