A pair of shoes cost $250. The price was decreased by 20%. A week later shoes were mark down again by 25%. What is the final price of the shoes?

    20% is 0.2. 25% is 0.25. A decrease is a reduction, so we have:
    Final Price = 250 * (1 - 0.2) * (1 - 0.25)
    Final Price = 250 * 0.8 * 0.75
    Final Price = 150
