    If f(x) = 3 - 2x and g(x) = 1/x + 5 what is the value of (f/g)(8)?

    Set up (f/g)(x)
    (3 - 2x)/(1/x + 5)

    Now find (f/g)(8)
    (3 - 2(8))/(1/8+ 5)
    (3 - 16)/(5.125)
    -13/5.125
    2.5366
