    If MN is perpendicular to PQ and the slope of PQ is -4 what is the slope for MN

    the slope of a line perpendicular to another line is the negative reciprocal. Therefore:
    Slope of MN = -1/Slope of PQ
    Slope of MN = -1/-4
    Slope of MN = 1/4
