    m is inversely proportional to the square of p-1 when p=4 and m=5. find m when p=6

    Inversely proportional means there is a constant k such that:
    m = k/(p - 1)^2

    When p = 4 and m = 5, we have:
    5 = k/(4 - 1)^2
    5 = k/3^2
    5 = k/9

    Cross multiply:
    k = 45

    The problems asks for m when p = 6. And we also now know that k = 45. So plug in the numbers:
    m = k/(p - 1)^2
    m = 45/(6 - 1)^2
    m = 45/5^2
    m = 45/25
    m = 1.8
