    Narda has $250 and Ding has $170. How much money must Narda give to Ding so that each of them will have an equal amount of money?

    Find the difference of Narda and Ding's money:
    Difference = Narda - Ding
    Difference = 250 - 170
    Difference = 80

    Find half the difference:
    Half the difference = 80/2
    Half the difference = 40

    So Narda must give Ding $40 to have equal amounts:
    Narda's new total = 250 - 40 = 210
    Ding's new total = 1760 + 40 = 210
